Location
Right in the heart of San José between 7th and 9th streets on Central Avenue, one block from the Cultural Square.
Directions from Juan Santamaría International Airport:
Exit the airport and follow signs to San Jose. You will merge into the Interamerican Highway (General Cañas Highway) south and head towards San José. Drive for 17 Km past the Bridgestone/Firestone factory on your right, the Real Cariari shopping mall on your left and over the Virilla River bridge. Continue on the main road past the Dennis Restaurant (on your left) and stay on the main highway as you reach a traffic light with a Nissan Dealer on the right. Drive through the light (you should be driving next to the Sabana Park on your right) and make a left on the next traffic light (You should see Leon Cortés Statue on your right) onto Paseo Colon Avenue, entering Downtown.
Drive on the Paseo Colon for 11 blocks, past the Mercedes Tower on your left and the Children’s and San Juan de Dios Hospitals on your right, and when you reach the traffic light where the 4 lane street turns into 2 lanes, make a right turn followed by an immediate left turn entering Second Avenue (Wide avenue with six lanes). As you enter Second Avenue, you should see a park and La Merced Church on your right.
Keep driving up Second Avenue until you pass the National Theater on Plaza de la Cultura (Culture Square), on your left side. Make a left after the Theater onto Fifth Street.
Drive three blocks and make the first possible right in front of Morazan Park, as soon as you reach the park. You should be driving with the Park on your left side. Make a right on Seventh Street and continue until you see the Hotel on the corner. Our parking lot is half a block past the Hotel.
