flight to costa rica plane fly this route had an unfortunate birdstrike on takeoff and they aborted their roll, barely before reaching V1. There was no other aircraft to do the flight, but fortunately, there was a 747 parked on the apron, which just came back from a C-check and was reinstated into service yesterday. Even though the flight would eventually take place, the PAX are still very angry and try to search a scapegoat for the delay and they don't believe that the delay was caused due to a birdstrike
