costa rica beach rentals It's the place of golden light and warmth and soft, green shade. Of the tranquil play of sea, sky and forest, of furious thunderstorms before velvet nights of stars and fireflies.
It is where life is lived to the moon's cycle; where grownups always have time for the children; where work is fishing or ranching, building or planting, and play is dancing and surfing, fiestas and football. And dozens of species coexist without endangering each other. When you were a kid, you wanted to live here.
Mal Pais has been in your mind's eye forever. You thought you imagined it, but you didn't. You remembered it. It's real.

costa rica beach rentals Normally in Nosara when a community meeting is scheduled, maybe 5 - 6 people show up; 1 hour late. Not this time. Approximately 300 people attended the meeting in Rancho Tico on Sept. 16, 2004, regarding the construction of the new gas station located in front of the Materiales de Constr. Nosara and adjacent to the Sube y Baja Creek. Since 1999, gasoline has been dispensed to Nosara residents by plastic jug, at an un-permitted location called the Bomba. This place has become a toxic waste dump of barrels, old tires and batteries, spilled oil and gasoline. This is the current gas station, and promises to be a continued toxic waste dump. It is located on a creek known as the Sube y Baja, about 500 meters upstream of the newly constructed, modern gas station.
