The Monteverde cloud forest area, which comprises ten towns with 8,000 people,monteverde town is situated on the Continental Divide at an elevation or 5,600 feet above sea level. The region is well known for its commitment to the sustainable development of the community and the conservation of the cloud forest reserves.

The climate is typically cool and at times wet, so we suggest to bring rain gear and boots, as well as pants, long-sleeved shirts and a light jacket for our 2-hour skywaysmonteverde walk, consisting in hanging bridges that will make feel like a Jaguar under the forest or like an eagle from the sky. You will experience the cloud forest like no one did before learning about the ecosystem, plants and wildlife.

The two-hours skyway trails are likely to show the visitor the wonder of the cloud forest and will enable the guests to enjoy its vegetation.

monteverdeThen a delicious Costa Rican lunch will be waiting for us, because after it at the same place we will visit one of the most beautiful butterfly farm and of course, because we know you are a nature lover, you can not miss the hummingbird garden where you can see about 12 different species. All this will be part of this unforgettable experience.

Wear: Long pants, cotton shirt, and walking shoes.
