However, there are several ways to reach this beautiful destination, each offering a unique and enjoyable experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>By Air<\/strong><br \/>\nA short 20-minute flight from San Jos\u00e9 to Manuel Antonio operates several times daily. Once you arrive at the Quepos regional airport, a quick taxi ride will take you to your hotel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Bus<\/strong><br \/>\nFor those who want to immerse themselves in Costa Rican culture, taking the bus is a great option. At around $20 round-trip, the bus is an affordable and scenic way to travel. The express buses depart three times a day and take roughly the same amount of time as driving yourself. No reservations are necessary, and the ride is generally quite comfortable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Car<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you&#8217;d prefer the flexibility to explore at your own pace, renting a car is a popular choice. A 4&#215;4 is highly recommended, especially from May to November during the rainy season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Public Bus<\/strong><br \/>\nBuses run daily between Quepos and Manuel Antonio from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (until 9:30 p.m. on weekends). Buses depart on the hour and half-hour. There are also additional buses departing at 5:45 a.m., 6:45 a.m., and 10:00 p.m. Please make sure to call or ask before any addittional questions about schedules.<\/p>\n<p>From Manuel Antonio to Quepos, buses operate daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:25 p.m. on the hour and 25 minutes after the hour. There&#8217;s also a 6:00 a.m. bus and a 10:00 p.m. bus on weekends.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taxi<\/strong><br \/>\nTaxis are widely available in both Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Official red taxis are equipped with meters, while unofficial \u201cpirate\u201d taxis are usually less expensive but do not carry passenger insurance.
