DAY 1

At your arrival, Costa Rica Guides and Expediciones Tropicales will have a representative past the immigration point at the end of the ramp, waiting for you, holding a visible placard with your last name. The representative will not be able to provide assistance with your luggage inside the airport, as you’re the only person permitted to do so.

Once you have exited the airport, our driver will gladly assist you with your luggage and private transportation to the hotel in San Jose.

DAY 2

Today, you will have your vehicle available to start your delightful journey through the country. Begin your trip driving to the area of Sarapiqui.

DAY 4

Drive to the area of Arenal Volcano in San Carlos. This volcano has an almost perfect conical shape and it has been active since 1968. On the nearby forest you may observe different species of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. 

This area is surrounded by natural beauty with landscapes that will leave you breathless.

Suggested activities and places to visit: canopy tours, fishing in the Arenal Lake, hanging bridges, sky tram, ATV Tours, Horseback riding, waterfalls, canyoning, biking,  hiking, rafting, boat tours, volcano observation and hot springs.
