A second lake which fills an inactive crater, which last erupted in 7500 BC is located just a few short minutes from the main crater, and is surrounded by a cloud forest located within the beautiful Poas Volano National Park, allowing one to take in and witness the different ecosystems afforded by the vast array of microclimates.

Next, we will continue to the La Paz Water Fall Gardens for a scrumptious lunch and adventurous tour. Upon arrival to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens area, we will go on a light hike through a trail surrounded by all types and forms of biodiversity as we are lead to a spectacular waterfall in the middle of the rainforest.
