Costa Rica is in Central America, just north of Panama, where Central and South America meet. When you fly into Costa Rica, most likely you will land in San Jose, the capital and biggest city in Costa Rica. From San Jose, you can take a plane, a bus, or a car to get to the hotel.

The Hotel California is in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. It is also near Quepos (it is situated on a hill between the two). It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from San Jose, and the flight is less than half an hour.

Rooms

The rooms at the Hotel California were designed to make your stay as relaxing as possible. They are super-comfortable, and you will find that a great deal of thought has been given to every last detail (as you will read below). There are three types of rooms, Deluxe and Standard, and a Villa.

DELUXE (12 rooms): Spacious room with Queen size bed, balcony and great ocean view.
STANDARD (15 rooms): Spacious room with Queen size bed or Queen and twin bed, or 2 double beds ,balcony, and garden view.
VILLA (special for families): It has 2 bedrooms (1 with a queen size bed and the other with 1 queen and 1 twin) , each one with bathroom and A/C, kitchen, telephone,cable T.V, garden view. Ask for our special rates.

In general, the 22 rooms have been remodeled and are equipped with state-of-the-art and super quiet A/C, cable tv, private bathroom with hot water, mini-bars, telephone, balcony with large chairs, and security box. Breakfast Wherever You Want!

We offer a delicious breakfast buffet to at our poolside restaurant or in the downstairs when the weather is a little wetter. Our menu highlights fresh baked breads, and specialties of Costa Rica, fresh fruits and fruit juices and an American style breakfast menu laced with local specialites. Healthy and vegetarian options are available.

Poolside Lunch at the California Poolside Sunset Restaurant. Lunch and dinner are served poolside an international menu from Pastas and fish to Nachos and burgers. All options are reasonably priced and the variety is sufficient for all tastes. There is a children’s menu.
