At your arrival, Costa Rica Guides and Expediciones Tropicales will have a representative past the immigration point at the end of the ramp, waiting for you, holding a visible placard with your last name. The representative will not be able to provide assistance with your luggage inside the airport, as you’re the only person permitted to do so.

Once you have exited the airport, our driver will gladly assist you with your luggage and private transportation to the hotel in San Jose

We will leave in the morning from San Jose towards Tortuguero. Admire the biodiversity of an astonishing protected area in Costa Rica as we drive by the Braulio Carrillo National Park, a primary forest in 95% of its extension. Have a delicious Costa Rican breakfast en route. Board a comfortable boat upon arrival at the port and let this extraordinary exotic paradise enchant you, as you travel along the Tortuguero Canals. Have a one-in-a-lifetime experience in this unique place surrounded by a great variety of flora and fauna of breathtaking beauty. Enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a delicious lunch as we welcome you to the lodge in Tortuguero. After lunch, we will visit the museum, the beach area and the small and picturesque town of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner will be served upon arrival at the lodge.

Get ready to hike the Tortuguero Hill or travel along the well-known Tortuguero Canals and have the experience of your life in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna.

The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, you will feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks. Next, we will visit the hot springs of the volcano, where you can relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. At a convenient time after your arrival, we will treat you to a splendid dinner and at the end of the evening you will be transferred to your hotel in Arenal.

Manuel Antonio National Park is deservedly the most popular park in Costa Rica with beautiful white sand beaches surrounded by emerald waters and jungle.  Our naturalist guides will explain the history and geography of the area as well as help you get the most of your visit, pointing out sloth, monkeys, iguanas, and a multitude of insects and birds during this very informative three hour walk.
