A private transfer will take you comfortably to your hotel in San José.

After the trip you will have time to settle in and rest.

The adventure begins tomorrow.

Overnight in San José.

After breakfast we will begin exploring San José, the capital of Costa Rica.

Before venturing into volcanoes, forests and beaches, we will get to know the history and culture that help explain the country's identity.

From La Sabana to the National Theater

We will begin with an orientation of the city as we head toward La Sabana Metropolitan Park, one of the most important urban spaces in San José.

We will continue walking toward the historic National Theater, inaugurated in 1897 and considered one of the great architectural jewels of Costa Rica.

During the tour we will also visit various places of cultural and historical interest, including:

The University of Costa Rica.

The Supreme Court.

Historic buildings and spaces of the capital.

One of Costa Rica's museums.

A local crafts shop.

It will be a first approach to the country's history, architecture and daily life.

And, of course, you will have the chance to take home a souvenir of Costa Rican culture.

Overnight in San José.

Today our adventure outside the capital begins.

We will head toward the mountains of Alajuela, crossing increasingly green landscapes.

The secret behind Costa Rican coffee

Our first stop will be at Doka Coffee Estate.

Here we will get to know an authentic plantation and discover the process that transforms a small seed into one of the world's most appreciated beverages.

We will learn about the cultivation, the harvesting and the techniques used by the experts to produce high-quality coffee.

In addition, we will enjoy a breakfast to start the day.

Facing the crater of Poás Volcano

After the coffee we will continue toward Poás Volcano.

The enormous crater is one of the great natural attractions of the Central Valley.

From the visitor area we will be able to contemplate the volcanic landscape and learn more about the different ecosystems that surround this mountain area.

The experience changes completely as we leave the volcanic environment and continue toward our next destination.

La Paz Waterfall Gardens

At La Paz Waterfall Gardens we will once again enter the rainforest.

A trail will take us to a spectacular waterfall surrounded by tropical vegetation.

But the experience does not end there.

The park also features different spaces dedicated to wildlife, including:

Butterfly garden.

Hummingbird gallery.

Serpentarium.

Aviary.

Frog exhibit.

Afterwards we will enjoy lunch and then return to San José.

A day that brings together three great symbols of Costa Rica: coffee, volcanoes and tropical forest.

Overnight in San José.

Free time in La Fortuna

Today we will change the pace.

After breakfast you will have a free day to explore La Fortuna and the surroundings of the Arenal Volcano your way.

This is a perfect opportunity to choose what kind of adventure you want to have.

You can rest and enjoy the hotel or take the opportunity to do one of the many activities available in the region.

Adventure around Arenal

The area offers possibilities for different traveler styles:

Nature.

Adventure.

Hikes.

Rivers.

Waterfalls.

Wellness experiences.

And, of course, the impressive views of the Arenal Volcano.

Today the itinerary is yours.

Overnight in Arenal.

Today we will get to know one of the most emblematic regions of Costa Rica.

The Arenal Volcano dominates the landscape of La Fortuna with its characteristic conical shape and the green forests around it.

During the tour we will learn about the volcanic region and enjoy the landscapes that make Arenal one of the most visited destinations in the country.

Time to relax

In the afternoon we will head to Baldi Hot Springs.

Here you can immerse yourself in thermal waters heated naturally by the region's geothermal activity.

Surrounded by tropical vegetation, the pools offer the perfect setting to rest after several days of adventure.

And when night falls, you can gaze at the starry sky while enjoying the warm waters.

To end the experience we will enjoy dinner before returning to the hotel.

A day to discover the power of the volcano and enjoy its natural benefits.

Overnight in Arenal.

After breakfast we will leave Arenal behind and begin our ascent toward Monteverde.

The landscape will change progressively. Temperatures will drop.

The vegetation will become denser. And the clouds will begin to envelop the mountains.

Welcome to Monteverde

Monteverde is famous for its tropical cloud forest, an ecosystem where humidity and mist are a permanent part of the landscape.

Trees covered in moss, ferns, bromeliads and an enormous variety of plants create an environment completely different from the one we find in Arenal.

On arrival you will have time to settle in and begin discovering the area.

Overnight in Monteverde.

Today we will explore one of the most fascinating ecosystems in the country.

We will visit the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, a private, non-profit reserve managed by the Tropical Science Center.

🌿 A forest full of life

The trails cross an environment where mist and humidity create ideal conditions for an extraordinary variety of species.

During the walk we will be able to observe and learn about:

Birds.

Butterflies.

Insects.

Ferns.

Bromeliads.

Trees and plants native to the cloud forest.

The experience is not only about walking.

It is about learning to observe.

Listening to the sounds of the forest.

Discovering small creatures among the leaves.

And understanding the importance of conserving these ecosystems.

Monteverde is a place to walk slowly and let nature reveal itself little by little.

Overnight in Monteverde.

Today we will change scenery once again. We will leave the mountains of Monteverde and begin the descent toward the North Pacific coast.

The temperature rises. The landscape becomes drier and more tropical. And finally the ocean appears.

Welcome to Tamarindo

We will arrive in Tamarindo, one of the best-known beach destinations in Guanacaste.

Here a new stage of the trip begins.

After settling into your hotel you will have time to relax and begin enjoying the coastal atmosphere.

Tamarindo is known for its beaches, its tropical atmosphere and its spectacular sunsets.

Overnight in Tamarindo.

Two days of beach, adventure and freedom

After so many days of touring, these two days are designed so that you can enjoy Tamarindo at a leisurely pace.

You can start the morning walking along the beach. Spend the afternoon by the sea.

Enjoy the hotel pool. Explore the surroundings. Or turn one of these days into a new adventure.

The North Pacific is yours

Depending on your interests, the area offers different possibilities for activities and experiences.

You can also simply do nothing.

Because part of a good vacation consists precisely of having time to enjoy.

And when sunset arrives...

Find a spot facing the ocean. The sky begins to change color. The temperature becomes more pleasant.

And the day ends with one of the most beautiful natural spectacles of the Guanacaste coast. Two days to rest, explore and enjoy at your own pace.

Overnight in Tamarindo.

Today we will get back on the road to continue our journey south.

We will leave behind the beaches of Guanacaste and head toward the Central Pacific coast.

New destination: Jacó

Our next destination will be Jacó, a lively coastal town surrounded by mountains and tropical nature.

After arriving and checking in at the hotel you will have time to begin getting to know the area.

The beach, the relaxed atmosphere and the different water activities make Jacó an excellent place to continue our adventure.

Overnight in Jacó.

Beach, sea and adventure

Today you will have a full day to enjoy Jacó.

After breakfast you can decide how you want to spend your last full day on the coast.

A day for the ocean

You can enjoy the beach, rest, walk along the coast or take part in one of the water activities available in the area.

For those seeking adventure, Jacó is known for its options related to the sea and its tropical landscapes.

For those who prefer to relax, the beach is enough.

Today it's up to you.

Overnight in Jacó.

After breakfast we will begin the return to San José.

It will be our last drive along the roads of Costa Rica.

As we leave the Central Pacific coast behind, the landscape will transform once again and little by little we will return to the Central Valley.

On arriving in San José you will have time to rest, do last-minute shopping or simply enjoy your last afternoon in the country.

Overnight in San José.

After breakfast the time will come to say goodbye.

Our private transfer will take you from the hotel to Juan Santamaría International Airport to catch your return flight.

During these two weeks you will have experienced an extraordinarily diverse Costa Rica.

You will have seen volcanoes. Tasted coffee. Walked through forests. Felt the warmth of the hot springs. Breathed the fresh mountain air. Contemplated the Pacific. Enjoyed tropical beaches. And had time to discover the country at your own pace.

Costa Rica is not experienced in a single landscape.

It is discovered by changing landscapes.
