Volcano Lodge

Location

Volcano Lodge is located on the side of the road that connects La Fortuna de San Carlos with the Arenal Lake, with direct view of the Arenal Volcano. This 5,300-foot high cone-shaped mountain laid dormant for hundreds of years, but in 1968 it erupted destroying the small town of Tabacon at its base killing approximately 80 of its inhabitants.

Volcano Lodge offers our guests the opportunity to enjoy our crystalline water swimming pools, which are meticulously treated to offer our visitors the best possible first impression of our facilities. The pools have a peculiar form which is a continuation of the image projected by the Lodge, which brings out a more beautiful way of looking at the Volcano. We feature an open air Jacuzzi that enhances relaxation amidst nature, with a magnificent view of the Volcano.

Facilities

Volcano Lodge offers exotic tropical gardens, which surround our facilities and decorate the private terraces in each room. Guests will be able to observe all types of plants in our gardens, as we have a strict upkeep schedule in our green areas. Throughout the property you will be able to enjoy the superb and selective taste and the concern and protection of the environment, one of the hotel’s premises.

The hotel features 40 guest rooms with direct views of the grandiose Arenal Volcano, so you do not have to miss a single detail of the activity cycles of this gift of nature, witnessed from your window or from the private terrace offered in each room for your comfort.

Guest rooms are tastefully decorated to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. All guest rooms are equipped with two double beds, air conditioning and private bathrooms with hot water. Rooms are designed to accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 4 guests. Children under 12 stay free when accompanied by an adult.
