Atlantic Aerial Tram + private transfer to Puerto Viejo

After breakfast we will head toward one of the most lush regions in the country.

The first great encounter with nature will be at the Atlantic Aerial Tram, an experience that lets you explore the rainforest from a privileged perspective.

Aboard the gondolas we will ascend silently among the trees, crossing different levels of the forest and discovering an extraordinarily rich ecosystem.

From above you will be able to observe the immensity of the rainforest and, if conditions allow, enjoy impressive views of Braulio Carrillo National Park.

The experience lets you understand how the forest changes from the ground to the treetops and discover a world that normally remains hidden from our eyes.

Toward the Caribbean

After the Aerial Tram we will continue our journey toward the Caribbean coast.

A private transfer will take us to Puerto Viejo de Limón, a destination where lush tropical nature combines with beaches, Afro-Caribbean culture and a relaxed, authentic atmosphere.

On arrival you will have time to settle into your hotel and begin enjoying the particular charm of the Costa Rican Caribbean.

Snorkeling + Cahuita National Park + interpretive walk

Today we will have one of the most complete experiences of the trip: a day dedicated to discovering nature above and below sea level.

After breakfast we will transfer to Cahuita, one of the most special natural areas of the Caribbean coast.

A tropical world underwater

We will board a vessel with a captain and guide to navigate the waters of Cahuita National Park.

For approximately two hours we will have the opportunity to snorkel around the coral reef, one of the most important marine ecosystems in Costa Rica.

Below the surface an extraordinary tropical world awaits us: colorful fish, corals, sea turtles, sponges, sea urchins, mollusks, crustaceans and many other species.

The snorkeling equipment will be included so that you can focus on enjoying this experience.

After the activity at sea, we will enjoy a refreshing snack of seasonal tropical fruits and water.

From the reef to the jungle

The adventure continues on land.

Accompanied by a naturalist guide we will take an interpretive walk of approximately 3.5 kilometers, covering the area between Punta Cahuita and the village of Cahuita.

Here the jungle becomes a true stage for wildlife.

During the walk we will be able to observe, depending on the conditions and the animals' activity, howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, sloths, armadillos, raccoons, anteaters, morpho butterflies and numerous species of birds.

The vegetation is equally fascinating, with orchids, bromeliads, ferns, tropical trees and medicinal plants.

This day perfectly sums up the spirit of the Costa Rican Caribbean: reefs, jungle, wildlife and tropical culture all in one place.

Transfer to Sarapiquí + free afternoon

After breakfast we will leave Puerto Viejo behind to continue our journey toward Sarapiquí, a region known for its extraordinary biodiversity and its extensive areas of tropical forest.

The landscape will change again as we head into the interior of the country.

Sarapiquí is one of the favorite destinations of nature and adventure lovers. Its rivers, forests and nature reserves offer excellent opportunities to observe birds, monkeys, frogs and other tropical species.

On arriving at the hotel you will have the rest of the day free to rest or simply enjoy the natural surroundings.

You will also be able to take the opportunity to add an optional excursion, according to your interests.

Arenal Volcano + Arenal Lake + Baldi Hot Springs

Today one of the most emblematic landscapes of Costa Rica awaits us.

After breakfast we will head toward La Fortuna de San Carlos, home to the impressive Arenal Volcano.

Its characteristic conical shape dominates the region's landscape and has become one of the great natural symbols of Costa Rica.

Facing the Arenal Volcano

On reaching La Fortuna we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant with a spectacular view of the volcano.

Afterwards we will visit a nearby lookout, from where we can appreciate the Arenal and Arenal Lake with greater perspective, one of the great bodies of water in the north of the country.

The combination of the volcano, the lake and the intense green of the vegetation creates one of the most photographed landscapes in Costa Rica.

Relaxation at Baldi Hot Springs

After the adventure the time comes to relax.

We will head to Baldi Hot Springs, where you can immerse yourself in different thermal pools surrounded by tropical vegetation.

The waters, naturally heated by the region's volcanic activity, offer the perfect setting to rest while you enjoy the atmosphere of La Fortuna.

The complex features different temperatures and options for relaxing, as well as additional services such as massages and treatments —available with prior reservation and not included in the program.

The experience combines four elements that define this region: the heat of the volcano, the water of the springs, the fresh air of the jungle and the fertile land of Arenal.

To end the day we will enjoy a buffet dinner at Baldi Resort before transferring to the hotel.

After several days full of nature and adventure, today you can enjoy La Fortuna at your own pace.

After breakfast we will begin our return to San José.

It will be a perfect trip to observe how the Costa Rican landscape changes once again: from the mountains and forests of the north to the Central Valley.

On arriving in San José you will have the rest of the day free to rest, do some last-minute shopping or enjoy a final dinner in the capital.

Transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport

After breakfast the time will come to say goodbye to Costa Rica.

A private transfer will take you from your hotel to Juan Santamaría International Airport to catch your return flight.

You will leave with memories of Caribbean beaches, coral reefs, tropical jungles, wild animals, volcanoes and hot springs.

But, above all, you will take with you the feeling of having discovered an authentic, lush Costa Rica full of life.
