Day 1 – Airport Transfer to hotel in San Jose

At your arrival, Costa Rica Guides and Expediciones Tropicales will have a representative past the immigration point at the end of the ramp, waiting for you, holding a visible placard with your last name. The representative will not be able to provide assistance with your luggage inside the airport, as you’re the only person permitted to do so.

Once you have exited the airport, our driver will gladly assist you with your luggage and private transportation to the hotel in San Jose.

Day 2 – Transfer to Puerto Viejo (Caribbean) (B) and Aerial Tram.

Day 3 – Beach Snorkeling Tour & balance of the day at leisure in Puerto Viejo (B)

Day 4 – Transfer to Sarapiqui Area

The Sarapiqui River area is rich in flora and fauna. The harmonious surroundings will allow you to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Day 5 – Tour to the Arenal Volcano Area & visit to Tabacon Hotsprings (B/L/D)

Situated a mere 91 km northwest of San José, the Arenal Volcano is one the most active volcanoes in the Americas. In 1968 it erupted decimating the small town of Tabacón.

Next, we will visit the Tabacon Hot Springs where you can relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano. At a convenient time after your arrival, we will treat you to a scrumptious dinner and at the end of the evening you will be transferred to your hotel in Arenal.

Day 6 – Day at leisure in the Arenal Volcano Area (B)

Day 7 – Transfer to San José & afternoon at leisure in San Jose (B)

Day 8 – Airport Transfer (B)

Transfer from your hotel in San Jose to the International Airport for your flight home.
